Abonnema Foundation is a catalyst for positive change.
Through responsive membership and strategic initiatives, we provide innovative solutions to Abonnema communities’ most challenging problems.
We don’t do it alone. We bring together diverse groups of people to consider the complexity of the issues and the most strategic solutions for lasting change. Our partners may include nonprofits, donors, government leaders, business people, faith-based organizations – all of whom care deeply about improving the quality of life in our community.
Abonnema Foundation is committed to the best ideas and most effective solutions at the local level, with those goals in mind; we’ll be announcing new initiatives at our 2010 Annual Convention in Houston, Texas

As a community foundation, we’re building a legacy of transparency and effective project management and implementation.
Projects are devised through research and community focus groups so that relevant issues are addressed. However, projects are expensive to implement given the difficult environment we operate in.

As a true statement of our growing legacy, the Abonnema Foundation is actively investing resources into rehabilitating the Abonnema General Hospital... to address the Healthcare needs of our people; this healthcare facility has hitherto been abandoned and starved of vital a resource that is needed for its optimal performance.

Though the journey ahead requires a huge dose of perseverance and determination, our strides to date has been sure and steady.
